Welcome to the official RunnersPod guide. Whether you are a runner looking for your next race or an organizer aiming for a seamless event, this documentation covers everything you need.
Runner Setup
Account Verification
When you create an account, email verification is required to register to races:
Step-by-Step: Go to Account > Click Verify Email button > Check your inbox and click the link.
Profile
Fill out all fields required to register for a race:

Registering for Races
Find your Race
Browse the Events page. Use filters to find races near your city or filter by event type and event status.
Select Category
Pick your distance (e.g., 5K, 21K). Check the Gun Start time and what's included (Medals, Singlets, etc.).
Add-ons
These are optional items not included in the registration fee.
Secure Payment
Complete your registration using GCash, Maya, or E-wallets and Credit/Debit cards.
Choose Your Payment Flow
During checkout, you can decide how you want to complete your transaction:
- Pay Now: You will be redirected immediately to your selected payment method (GCash, Maya, etc.) to complete the seat reservation.
- Pay Later: You will receive a secure payment link via email. Your slot is held temporarily but will be released if not paid within the expiry window.

Instant Confirmation
RunnersPod uses automated payment verification. Once your transaction is successful, your slot is instantly reserved. You will receive a confirmation email and your E-Ticket will appear in your Transactions immediately.
Sample Payment Breakdown
RunnersPod charges a small 4% processing fee to cover automated payment gateway costs and instant registration verification.
Why the 4%?
- No need to send bank transfer screenshots.
- No waiting for manual verification (1-2 days).
- Your slot is secured the second you pay.
- Instant E-Ticket generation.
Tracking Your Transactions
Every time you register for a race or purchase an add-on, a record is created in your Transactions history. This ensures full transparency for your race spending.
Understanding Statuses

PAID
Your payment was successful. Your slot is officially secured.

FOR PAYMENT
The transaction is initiated but the payment is not yet completed. Proceed to the payment gateway to finish.

FAILED/EXPIRED
The payment was declined or the payment window session has timed out. No funds were deducted.
What can you do here?
Transactions: View past transactions.
Dispute: If you were charged but the status is not "Paid," use the reference ID to contact [email protected].
Organizer Setup
Account Verification
When you create an organizer account, email verification is required to publish events:
Step-by-Step: Go to Account > Click Verify Email button > Check your inbox and click the link.
Profile
Fill out all fields required to create event:

Creating an Event
Fill out the event creation form following these requirements:

Editing an Event
Phase 1: Before Registration Opens
While the event is Pending or Upcoming (not yet open), you have full control. You can edit every field, including fees, distances, and add-ons.
Phase 2: Once Registration is Active
To protect registered runners, the following fields become locked once registration starts:
- Event Type (Run/Bike)
- Category Distances (km)
- Registration Fees
- Add-on Prices
You may still edit promotional info (Banner, Photos, Title, Description), Venue details, Gun Start times, and Slot Limits.
Managing Registrations
Track your event's progress in real-time from your Dashboard:
Registration Status
- Go to the My Events section.
- Find your event and click the View button.

Inside the event dashboard, you can access:
- Registration Stats: See the current registration status (Confirmed, Pending, or Cancelled) as of the time of viewing.
- Event Insights: View the financial breakdown and total payments that have gone in as of the time of viewing.
Payments & Payouts
All runner payments go directly to the RunnersPod's Paymongo Wallet. Paymongo ensures all transactions are secure via GCash, Cards, and more.
How to request payout:
- Go to the My Events section.
- Go to Event Insights
- Click Request Payout Button
Important Requirements:
- Verification: Ensure your Payout Info (GCash/Bank) is accurate in your Account Settings . RunnersPod is not liable for transfers to incorrect account numbers provided by the organizer.
- Weekly Window: Payout requests are only processed every Thursday to align with Paymongo's settlement schedule.
- Processing Time: Once requested, your funds will be processed and released within 3 business days.
